Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 T. milk
2 t. light corn syrup
¼ t. vanilla or almond extract
food coloring as desired

Sift sugar then mix in the corn syrup and extract
Add milk 1 t. at a time until desired consistency is reached (The full T. works for flooding if you only want to brush on the frosting and then decorate on top of that with sprinkles or icing designs. If you want to outline and then flood the cookie top, make two batches with one stiffer icing with less milk and one at full tablespoon.)

Icing on cookies can take up to 24 hours to set completely, but sets sufficiently to place on platter after one hour.
