¼ c. warm water
1 pkg yeast
1 tsp. salt
2 c. lard
1 c. butter
9 c. flour
4 eggs
1 ½ c. milk
2 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º
Mix water, yeast, and salt; set aside.
Cream lard, butter, and sugar.
Incorporate yeast mixture, then add eggs and milk.
Add flour 1 cup at a time to form slightly sticky dough.
Divide dough into 3 parts; wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.

1 c. sugar
2 c. nuts
cinnamon to taste

Combine to fill cookies
 

To Make Cookies

Quarter each portion of dough, and roll out in a round like pie dough. Cut into 8 wedges.
Add filling to center of each wedge and roll up like a crescent roll.
Bake for 18 minutes, until golden.
