1 lb Ground Beef (no less than 82% fat free)
29 oz Tomato sauce
3 oz Tomato Paste
1 Green Bell Pepper (large)
14 oz Wide Egg Noodles

Optional
1 Onion

S&P to Taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef over medium heat in a large sauce pot. Cut the green bell pepper & (optional onion) into bite size or your choice of size. Put green bell peppers & (optional onion) into ground beef pot continue to cook add salt and some pepper. Add in tomato sauce and paste and one 29 oz. can of water. Taste to see if additional salt is needed. Continue to cook on medium to low temp. Simmer sauce until desired thickness. Approximately 30 minutes. In separate pot cook noodles, drain water. Combine noodles into sauce. Season to taste.

I grew up with this recipe as a child. My sibling & I remember this recipe a little differently that is why I have optional onion. I grew up with no onion but my younger brothers and sisters remember onion being in it.
