¾ c. shortening

¾ c. butter

2 c. sugar

4 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

5 c. flour

2 tsp. baking powder

2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix shortening, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

2. Blend in flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Cover and chill for at least one hour.

4. Roll out dough, cut cookies, and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
