2 lbs beef chuck cut into 2 inch pieces
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 tbsp oil
3 medium onions, sliced
2 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 c water
egg noodles
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1 tsp dried parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Season beef with salt and pepper. In heavy frying pan, add oil and brown meat when oil sizzles. Then add onions and saute.

Combine flour and paprika. Sprinkle over beef and onions.
Stir until all is absorbed.

Reduce heat and cover for about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Add water when needed

Cook noodles in boiling salted water. Drain well.
Stir in butter and sprinkle with parsley.

Serve goulash over noodles.
