2C thinly sliced sweet onions
1/2C butter
1/4C Flour
1-1/2 to 2 tsp salt
pinch pepper
4C milk

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in butter over low heat until tender and transparent, 20-30 minutes. Blend in flour and seasonings. Stir over medium heat until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat, gradually stir in milk. Return to heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook 1 minute.
