FILLING:
3/4 cups sugar
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 cup juice drained from canned cherries
3 cup drained, canned, pitted, sour red cherries in water
Pie dough of your choice

TOPPING:
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup very cold butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
2. Start with the crumb topping, combine all ingredients with a fork or pastry cutter then set aside.
3. Drain cherries, and set aside 2/3 cup of drained juice
4. Roll out pie dough into pie pan
5. Cook all of the filling ingredients on the stovetop until clear/translucent
6. Place drained cherries in pie dough, then pour over filling, and top with crumb topping
7. Bake in over for 15 minutes
8. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 30 minutes
