5 pounds potatoes
5 large eggs
5 slices of thick-sliced bacon
1/2 cup diced onion
salt and pepper
paprika

Dressing:
Approximately 1 and 1/2 cups of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons of bacon drippings

Directions:

Night before works better:
Cook the potatoes the night before until you can poke a fork in them, just not mushy.
Boil the eggs the night before so they can cool.

Next day:
Fry the bacon, cool on paper towel and cut to sizes you want. Save the bacon drippings for the dressing.

Make dressing:
In a separate bowl, add the mayonnaise, mustard, white vinegar, sugar and bacon drippings. Taste and adjust all amounts to your liking.

Mix dressing and potatoes and eggs and bacon together.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle on top with paprika
Refrigerate.
