Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Combine the butter, sugar, and brown sugar with a spoon or an electric mixer on medium speed. Mix until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla.
3. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
4.Transfer the dough to four 5-inch cast-iron skillets** or one 10-inch cast-iron skillet. Spread evenly and smooth the top.
5. Bake 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and just set in the center. Cool 5 minutes before serving. |
