2 c flour (not sifted)
2 c sugar
1 tsp salt

1 stick butter bring to a boil i sauce pan & then pour over dry ingredients & stir
3½ Tbsp cocoa
1 c water

add
2 eggs
½ c buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Mix and bake in a floured and greased pan at 400º for 20 minutes or until done

start frosting after it's bake 15 minutes

Fudge Frosting
1 stick butter
3½ Tbsp cocoa
⅓ c milk
add
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
pour over hot cake
