1/2 pound pecan halves;
1 egg white;
1/2 cup of sugar;
1/3 tsp of nutmeg or cinnamon (optional).

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Place pecans in a mixing bowl. Add egg white and toss with pecans until well coated. Add sugar and spices to bowl and toss until sugar coats pecans. Spread pecans in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet (I use a foil lined cooking sheet instead.)

Bake for 15 minutes at 350F or until the sugar looks bubbly. Remove from oven. Loosen pecans and let cool for 10 minutes.
