1 Cup shortening or 2 sticks of butter (unsalted)
2 Cups Sugar
3 Eggs
2 Cups Pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
3 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Salt
3/4 Chopped Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda & spices.
Cream shortening (butter) & Sugar together in mixing bowl.
Add eggs and beat until fluffy, add pumpkin and gradually beat in flour mixture.
Fold in chopped nuts.
Prepare 2 loaf pans or a loaf pan and 3-4 mini loaf pans with butter and a light layer of flour.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until toothpicks comes out clean.
