1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups instant oats
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp. or more of cinnamon
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter and sugars together. Add eggs, vanilla and beat till well mixed . Blend in the oats. Sift and blend baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon into the flours and then into the mixture. Spoon onto baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake 375 º F degrees for eight minutes for softer chewy cookies. 10 minutes for harder cookies.
They also freeze well if they last that long. !!
