crisp celery
walnuts
raw apples
2 eggs
½ t mustard
½ t salt
4 T melted butter
6 T vinegar
6 t sugar
1 cupful whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Use equal quantity of crisp celery, cut in small pieces, and walnuts.
Use as much as both of good raw apples chopped up.

Beat the yolks of 2 eggs 9the whole of egg does nicely) until very light.
Then add a good half t each of mustard and slat and beat again.

Add slowly, beating continuously, melted butter, vinegar and sugar.

Cook in a double boiler until it thickens and is creamy.

When perfectly cold and ready to use, add whipped cream.
