1 pound of stewing beef
Flour
Salt and pepper
Lipton onion soup mix
Four carrots
Two potatoes
1 onion
Beef gravy mix
Water

DIRECTIONS:

1. Put flour and salt and pepper in bowl and roll stewing beef in
2. Brown it in a bit of oil in oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes and then turn over and brown other side for another 15 minutes
3. Add carrots, onions, potatoes, and 1/2 envelope Lipton onion soup mix and 1 package beef gravy mix and cover with water and stir
4. Cook with lid on for about 2 hours

This is Grandma’s/my mom’s stew that she made as we were growing up. It taste delicious and reminds me of home.
