½ lb. Sweet Butter
¾ cup Sugar
2 large eggs
Pinch of salt
3 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons cold milk.
5lbs of apples (Use Sweet apples)
Cinnamon
Lemon Juice

Directions:
Directions:
Bake/Preheat around 350º or 375º.
Cream (Sweet butter, Sugar, Large eggs and pinch of salt).
Then add 1 teaspoon vanilla and then add dry sifted ingredients (Flour and baking powder).
Then add 2 tablespoons cold milk.
Add ingredients slowly.
Butter pan approx. 8"x12".
Line pan with half of dough, flour hand and pat dough a little at a time in pan.
Peel and slice apples.
Arrange on dough, sprinkle a little sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice and dot with butter. Pat remaining dough on top.
Bake in moderate oven
1 1/4 hours (or less depending on your oven)
