1 cup sugar
1 cup raisins ground
⅔ cup melted shortening
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
⅓ cup sour milk
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp ginger
3-4 cups flour, plus enough flour for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Grind raisins, beat in sugar, shortening, vanilla and eggs. Mix baking soda into sour milk, add to batter. Add flour, one cup at a time until dough is stiff, about 3-4 cups. Roll out on floured board and cut out. Bake at 350º 8-10 minutes.
