Ingredients:
1/4 Cup shortening (crisco)

2½ TBSP flour

1/4 tsp. salt

3 Cups powder sugar

2 squares chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Make sauce

Add chocolate

Then sugar

Flavor with vanilla

Obviously Grandma Jo knew what she was doing. But the direction are a little vague.

I would assume the "sauce" would be the shortening, flour and salt. I'd remove from heat and add the chocolate to melt and stir until it was melted and shiny. Then I'd add the sugar and vanilla.

(But I could be wrong and Grandma is not here to ask) ;-)
