1 9" baked pie shell
½ cup cocoa
1¼ cups sugar
⅓ cup cornstarch
¼ teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
3 tablespoons butter
Sweetened whipped cream (for topping)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and cornstarch in medium saucepan.
2. Gradually blend milk into dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until filling boils. Boil for one minute and remove mixture from heat.
4. Blend in butter and vanilla extract.
5. Pour filling into pie crust.
6. Carefully press plastic wrap directly onto pie filling.
7. Cool in refrigerator, chill for 3-4 hours.
