1 cup shortening
1 tsp. flour
2 medium eggs
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar with fork. Make it real creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Then add vanilla and ginger. Add flour a little at a time until you can handle the mixture. Form into small balls. Roll out onto a floured surface. Cut with a small glass. Preferably a "snuff glass". Bake in 340 degree oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
