4 cups oatmeal
½ tsp. salt (can use light salt)
1 c brown sugar
½ cup honey
1 stick melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1½ c chocolate chips (or whatever you like such as nuts, marshmallows, etc)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix together oatmeal, salt, and brown sugar in one bowl and set aside. In another bowl, mix honey, butter, vanilla, and chocolate chips. Then combine the two mixtures . Pour into a greased pan ( we use a cookie pan with ½ inch sides). Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool and then cut into bars.
