1 cup butter, margarine or Crisco sticks
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly and chill the dough.

Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Roll into size of walnuts.
Roll in mixture of 2Tbsp of sugar and 2 tsp. of cinnamon.
Bake until brown but still soft for 8 to 10 minutes.

Cookies ALWAYS come out better if you refrigerate the dough overnight. Don't know why, they just do.
