½ c. butter or margarine (1 stick)
½ c. peanut butter
½ c. sugar
½ c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbls. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1¾ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. baking soda

Heat oven to 375º
Lightly grease a cookie sheet

In a large mixer bowl beat butter or margarine and peanut butter until blended.
Add 1/2 cup sugar and the brown sugar and beat until fluffy.
Add egg, milk and vanilla and beat well.
In a medium mixing bowl stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
With mixer on low speed gradually add flour mixture to peanut butter mixture.
Beat well.
If necessary, cover and chill about 1 hour before handling.
Shape dough into 1" balls.
Roll in additional sugar.
Place 2" apart on prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or till edges are firm.
Immediately press a hershey kiss a top hot cookie.
