For 9" pie

1 c. sugar
3 T cornstarch or 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. fresh peaches
1 1/2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cornstarch & cinnamon. Add peaches, mix lightly.
Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter. (I cook in microwave if using fresh or frozen peaches and cook till warm and all is mixed). Put top crust on and put slits in top crust (or make your own design!!. Seal & flute edges. Cover edges with strip of foil to prevent excessive browning. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until crust is nicely browned and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust. Good with ice cream!
