4 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1 heaping c. sugar
1 tsp baking soda
⅓ c. milk
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and shortening as for pie.
In another bowl, add the soda to the sugar and when well blended, add the beaten eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Pour the sugar mixture into the flour mixture and mix until smooth.
Roll out on floured surface and cut in shapes.
