1 stick of butter
2 c. of sugar
3/4 c. of cooking oil
2 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tspsp. soda
1 t. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs. Add spices and salt to flour. Mix cooking oil and flour mixture alternately. Add apples and pecans. Stir.

Grease 9 in. by 13 in. pyrex dish. Flour. Pour cake in to dish and bake on 325 F for 1 hour. Top should be brown and crisp. Cut in 1 1/2 inch squares.
