12 cups popped popcorn
½ teaspoon salt
⅔ cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 cup sugar
⅔ cup water
½ cup butter
½ teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place popped popcorn in a very large bowl. make sure to remove any un-popped kernels.

In a medium saucepan, combine remaining ingredients, except vanilla.

Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until soft-cracked stage (270º).

Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, slowly pour syrup over popcorn, tossing until coated.

With buttered fingers, quickly shape into balls.
