4 sq. chocolate
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can evaporated milke
1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over hot water in a double boiler. Add chocolate squares and melt. Add sugar very gradually and stir. Cook until thick. This keeps well for weeks in the refrigerator and works well as an ice cream topping.

I will always remember this as being so decadent. It tastes like you are eating heavy cream and dark chocolate but stays thick when warm. Grandma June was a gourmet cook and fun to learn from.
