Ingredients:  
1 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
4 tsp. vanilla extract

1 additional egg for egg wash

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, butter and vanilla.
Add eggs and mix again.
Slowly add in flour while mixing.
Form smooth paste, wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate overnight.
(makes it easier to roll out).

On a floured surface, roll out a softball-sized piece of dough with a rolling pin.
Cut with your favorite cookie cutter shapes.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Brush lightly with egg wash and decorate with colored sugar sprinkles.

Bake in 350º oven until light golden in color. (about 6-8 minutes)
