2 cups raisins
1 cup red glazed cherries
1 cup green glazed cherries
2 cups mixed glazed fruit
1 cup glazed pineapple
14 oz can drained crushed pineapple
Toss fruit with 1 cup of flour

2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
6 eggs
1 cup lukewarm water (can use milk or sour cream)
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg

Preheat oven to 325º

In a bowl combine all the fruit with 1 cup of flour

In another large bowl, cream sugar, butter and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time beating well. Add wet ingredients alternating with the 4 cups of flour

Add the flour coated fruit to the batter.

This is recipe makes 2 loaves. Lightly grease or line 2 loaf pans with parchment paper.

Bake for 1½ hours and check till done. Depending on oven this may take up to 2 hours. Place a pan of water in the oven beside loaf pans during baking.

Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. If freezing, wrap tightly in several layers of plastic wrap before placing it in a large ziplock freezer bag, removing as much air from the bag as you can before sealing it.
