3/4 cup butter
1/3 cup Confectioner sugar
1½ tablespoon Maxwell Instant coffee
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1¾ Cup unsifted flour
1 Cup finely Chopped nuts
additional Conf sugar

Cream butter Add 1/3 cup Conf. sugar
Cream until fluffy
Dissolve instant Maxwell Coffee and baking soda in the water
add to butter mixture with vanilla Beat well
Stir in flour and nuts

Shape into small balls Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350 for 15 to 18 minute

Roll each Cookie in additional Conf sugar while still hot Make 3 dozs.
