1 lb. hamburger (browned)
Add 1 (15oz) can of undrained kidney beans. Add 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder and 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix. Heat together 1 minute, drain and cool in colander, then refrigerate.

Directions:

Toss together:
1 head lettuce
5 or 6 green onions
1/2 lb. colby or cheddar cheese (grated)
1 diced green pepper
1 can mushrooms (optional)

To serve: Place meat mixture in each serving of salad. Toss with French dressing and crushed taco chips.
