1 c. soft butter
½ c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2¼ c. flour
¾ c. chopped nuts (pecans)
¼ tsp. salt
Additional powdered sugar for rolling/coating

Directions:
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400º
- Mix thoroughly butter, powdered sugar & vanilla
- Stir in flour, nuts & salt
- Mix together thoroughly until mix is grainy
- Grab a small amount of cookie mixture and squeeze to make 1 inch ball.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet (can be close together but not touching)
- Bake until set - about 10-12 minutes
- While still warm, roll in powdered sugar and set in cool cookie sheet.
- When all cookies have been rolled in sugar, roll them in powdered sugar again.

This recipe is easy to make but tedious to form balls and roll in powdered sugar. But, it is well worth it. Get your kids to help. They'll love it.

Everyone loves this cookie and cannot eat just one. That includes me!
