1 c. mashed potatoes, hot
¼ c. shortening
3 egg, beaten
1⅓ c. sugar
4-6 c. flour
2 T. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 c. + 1 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Mix shortening and mashed potatoes together. Mix separately eggs and sugar and beat well. Add baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon. Add alternately the flour and milk. Cover and chill 2 hours. Roll ⅛" thick and cut out. Fry in 375º.
