6 T chilled butter
1 cup flour
2½ T cream

Almond Cream Filling (Frosting)
¾ cup powdered sugar
2 T soft butter
⅛ tsp almond extract
1 T light cream (enough for spreading)

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle 1 T cream over part of mixture. Do the same with the other. Roll dough into little balls. Press with a glass. Sprinkle sugar over the cookie and prick with a fork.

Bake at 375º for 8 min. Ungreased sheet.

When cool spread cream filling over one cookie, then top with another, like a sandwich.
These light pie crust sandwich cookies are Uncle Dennis's favorite!
