1 1/2 pounds ground round
1/2 pound hot sausage
1/2 cup cracker crumbs
1 egg beaten
1 chopped onion
salt and pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons sage
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

combine all ingredients except the milk and 1/2 can tomato sauce. (Reserve the remainder for later). Add just enough milk to make right consistency to mold into loaf. Form in loaf place in large casserole. Pour 1 1/2 cups hot water around the loaf.

Bake in covered plan at 350 for 1 3/4 hours.

Last half hour pour other 1/2 can tomato sauce over the loaf and cook uncovered for the remaining half hour.
