⅔ Cup Shorting - part butter
2 Cup Sugar - part brown
2 Eggs
½ tsp. Vanilla
½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Cream of Tartar
3½ Cups Flour
½ Cup nutmeats
Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Shape into loaf and chill. Slice and bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.
