Ingredients:  
1 Cup of pear juice from a can of large halved pears
1 can of large halved pears
1 small box of lime jello
2 small packages of philadelphia cream cheese (3 oz size)
2 Tbs of heavy cream
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional, Vikki added)
1 cup of whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
heat one cup of pear juice
add one package of lime jello and dissolve
add 2 small pkgs of philadelphia cream cheese
add 2 tbs of heavy whipping ream
let cool and ALMOST set
then mash pears by fork
mix mashed pears with whipped cream
then add this mixture back to jello mixture and mix together
if adding pecans add to this mixture and then mix all together
put back in frig to set

Gram did not use the nuts. This is an old fashioned recipe that has been forgotten today, but it is DELICIOUS! Gram always served this on Christmas Eve. That's one for you Gram! Yeah!
