Buttermilk Frosting


Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 C sugar
2 C flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Sift all three above into a bowl

2 sticks of butter
4 Tof unsweetened cocoa
1 C of water
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 C buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift sugar, flour and cornstarch - set aside

Melt 2 sticks of butter with 4 T cocoa and 1 C water - bring to boil
Pour over dry ingrediants
Add vanilla, eggs and buttermilk

Bake at 400F for 20 minutes in 11x17 pan

Remove and prick with a fork after cooling for 5-10 minutes
 

Buttermilk Frosting


Ingredients:

1 stick butter
4 Tbls. cocoa
6 T buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
box of powdered sugar (you can add a little more if you want it thicker)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter with cocoa and buttermilk - bring to a boil
Remove quickly and add vanilla and powdered sugar
Spread over warm cake
