3/4 C milk
1/2 C sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 C margarine
1/2 C warm water (105º - 115º)
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1 egg
2 C un-sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk, stir in sugar, salt and margarine. Cool to luke warm. Measure warm water out in a large bowl. Sprinkle in yeast, stir until dissolved. Stir into luke warm milk mixture, egg and half the flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter. Turn out on lightly floured board. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Place dough in greased bowl. Grease top cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour. Punch down, turn out on lightly floured board and shape as desired.
