1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1-1/2 cups milk
2 T flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sugar & flour.
Add beaten egg yolks and part of milk.
Stir and then add rest of milk & butter.
Cook until thick. (When cooking, stir constantly while cooking on medium)
Add vanilla when mixture cools.
Crush vanilla wafers and place on the bottom of the bowl and pour pudding in on top. Line the sides of the bowl with whole vanilla wafers. Crumble more vanilla wafers on top of the pudding. Chill in refrigerator before serving.
