2 lbs. red skinned potatoes (unpeeled or peeled, slice about 1/4 inch thick)
1 tbsp. butter (melted)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. dried leaf thyme
1 medium onion (halved and sliced)
1/2 small to medium cabbage (coarsely chopped)
1 lb. smoked Polish Sausage Cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces)
1/2 cup of water and one green apple. (peeled and sliced fine)
2 tsp. apple cider vinegar

1. Gather the ingredients.

2. Arrange sliced potatoes in the bottom of a 4 to 7 quart slow cooker.

3. Drizzle with the butter and sprinkle with about half of the Salt, Pepper, and Thyme.

4. Toss to coat the potatoes and add the cabbage and onions, apple and water.

5. Sprinkle with remaining seasoning and then top with the sausages.

6. pour the apple cider over all and then drizzle with vinegar.

7. cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low or 3 to 4 hours on high.
