2 cups Flour

4 teaspoons Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tarter

2 teaspoons Sugar

1/2 cup Shortening (You have to use Crisco butter flavor. Super unhealthy but that's what Gramma used. :)

2/3 cup Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Gramma sifted the flour into a bowl and added the remaining dry ingredients. Cut in the shortening with pastry blender, add milk. When mixed kneed dough 10-12 times.
Roll out on floured surface and using a cookie cutter cut out biscuits. Place on cookie sheet and bake 450º 10-12 min

For drop biscuits use more milk and drop spoon full on cookie sheet. It's noted the closer you place the biscuits the softer they will be.
