1 kg flour
2 eggs
2 fresh yeast or 10 gr dry
200 ml oil
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
500 ml milk
100 gr shortening
100 gr butter, melted

marmalade of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Put yeast, sugar and tbsp flour with little warm milk to rise. Then add flour, salt, eggs, shortening, and oil and knead with warm milk into soft dough. Rest 20 minutes.

Divide into 2 parts, each part separate into 8 balls. Each ball roll out to small circle, butter top and add other circles leaving top without butter.

Roll out to bigger circle and cut into 16 triangular parts. Add marmalade to ends and roll into crescent shape.

Line cookie sheet with wax paper and place on sheet. Brush with egg and leave for 20 minutes.

Bake at 200 C / 390 F till slightly browned (30 minutes). Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
