2¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups (12oz) Semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla in a large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
