4 qt. cucumbers (sliced)
1 scant c. salt
8-10 small onions
2 green peppers or partly red

Syrup:
1 qt. cider vinegar
4 c. sugar
1 t. celery seed
1 t. tumeric powder
2 T. white mustard seed
mixes spices

Directions:
Directions:
Remove seeds from peppers and cut them into strips. Place all ingredients in stone jar and cover with water. Let stand overnight. In the morning, drain. The prepare syrup. Mix and bring to a boil, add cucumber mixture and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Pack at one in hot sterilized jars and seal.
