Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When I was dating Nancy, Thelma Lynn, Nancy's "Granny" was in her nineties and lived alone. Nancy would go over every day to check on her. Often I would go with her. Nancy told me not to ever call her "Granny". She said if I ever did, she would very sharply say, "Don't call me that, I am not your grandmother" Every time I went over I would take her ice cream from my Baskin-Robbins store. She loved the ice cream and would start smiling as soon as I walked in the door. I told Nancy I was going to call her "Granny" and when she said she was not my grandmother, I was going to say, "Yes you are. I've chosen you to be!" She died before I got the chance. She'll always be my "Granny" too.
