1¼ cups coconut or vanilla wafer cookies, finely crushed
½ cup almonds, ground
6 Tbs butter, melted

Filling:
3-8oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp almond extract
1 cup sour cream 3 large eggs
¼ amaretto liqueur

Directions:
Directions:
Beat cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth. Add sugar, salt and almond extract. Continue to beat until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in sour cream.

Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition and scraping down the sides of the bowl. Slowly beat in the amaretto. Continue to beat at medium speed until well blended, about 3-4 minutes.

Pour on top of crust and bake at 350º for one hour and 10 minutes or until golden and set. Turn off oven, leaving oven door slightly open. Let cake bake for 1-2 hours. Remove from oven, cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
