Ingredients:
1 Deep Dish Pie Shell, baked and ready to be filled.
4 Lg. Eggs, beaten
1/2c. Cocoa Powder
2c. Canned Evaporated Milk, Reg. or Fat free is fine
1/3c. All Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2c. water
1 1/4c. Sugar
2 Sticks Butter, softened

Directions:
*Double Boiler needed for this recipe.
Prebaked your pie shell and set aside to cool.
In a double boiler melt your butter on medium heat. In a separate bowl combine cocoa, sugar, vanilla, milk, water, and eggs. Stir until incorporated. Then slowly add the flour 1/2c. at a time until it is all mixed in and there are no lumps. Slowly pour the mixture into the double boiler with your butter. Stir, Stir, Stir
Continue stirring because it will thicken up pretty quick. You want it the consistency of thick pudding. It will probably take around ten minutes. Once it reaches this stage turn off your burner and stir again. Pour the thick mixture into your pie shell. Let it cool on the counter. Once cooled down, put a piece of plastic wrap over it and refrigerate.

Personal Notes:
If there is one thing my MeMaw is known for it's her Chocolate Pie. Every Thanksgiving and Holiday Celebration would not be the same without it. I have added it to my family tradition as well. Everyone gets so excited for the Chocolate Pie. I always end up making two pies sometimes three. Yes, they are that good.
See, MeMaw has a sweet tooth. Her original recipe called for 2c. sugar. It was super sweet. Over the years, I have tweaked it down to 1 1/4c.
