1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
¼ lb butter
1½ pounds ground beef
2 cans kidney beans
1 large can tomatoes
2 green peppers
8 oz. tomato sauce
2 tbsp flour
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tbsp aromatic bitters

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and garlic in butter. Add meat and brown. Put in pot and add kidney beans and liquid, tomatoes and liquid, tomato sauce, flour, salt, chili powder, bitters and mix well. Simmer over low heat until thick.

Note: If you prefer to rinse your beans, add and equal amount of water or beef broth.
